Stay Clear of Beer
When you are out with friends, alcohol is inevitably going to be introduced into the picture…. And if you are like me and like to have a few drinks every now and again I give you full permission from a health standpoint to enjoy responsibly. Beer however should be avoided at all cost. You will get just as much alcohol out of a shot as you will a regular beer, but with half the calories.
What I like to do is take a shot and ask for a glass of water as well, this keeps me hydrated… I get a responsible buzz… and don’t force unneeded calories into my body. Having a drink in my hand is also nice to have in social situations, even if it is just a glass of water.
Even mixers, whether its diet coke, coke, sprite, or ginger ale, have a lot of excess calories, sugars and sodium. If you are one who likes to dilute the alcohol a bit that’s fine just stick to soda water, or water. Now days there are tons of flavored alcohols… 3 olive cherry vodka being one of my favorites, which tastes great as a mixed drink with just a little added water.
Fast food inebriation
I cant tell you why, but I cant tell you how good jack in the box and taco bell look to me after 2am. Any other time it makes me sick to think about eating that greasy, fatty, ridiculously unhealthy food, but after a night of fun with my friends im always tempted to roll through a drive through on my way home… But because my health and keeping my six pack abs is so important to me… I know I have to say no!
Eating fast food is the fastest possible way to get fat, stay fat and lose all hope of getting a ripped body and six pack abs. So as good as it may look at times, you HAVE TO SAY NO.
I’ll always keep some healthy, but appealing snacks at home. This makes driving past those drive through restaurants. One of my favorite snacks after a long night out with my friends is a mango with a little condensed milk on top. Not the healthiest of snacks but it sure does cut out my craving for fast food.

Come Morning… Sweat it OUT!
I know you aren’t going to feel 100 percent the morning after a party with your friends, but right after you get up and eat breakfast FORCE yourself to go to the gym and sweat out all the PARTY from the night before!
There is NOTHING more important to getting ripped than TRAINING HARD… even when you don’t feel like it. Sometimes after my workout I’ll even sit in a sauna for 20-30 minutes just to make sure I sweat out all the toxins in my body from the night before. Also after working out I always feel better and will end up having a much more productive day than I would have if I would have just laid around watching TV.
Now the worst thing you can do is just go to the gym without a plan. Pick a couple solid workouts to do before hand so you aren’t just walking around the gym with a clouded mind trying to decide what to do.
