Free Weights Vs. Machines

 

Hey guys,

I am going to answer a question I get from a lot of my Six Pack Shortcuts members and people who follow me on Youtube.com.  “What should I use in the gym?  Should I use free weights or should I use machines Mr. Chang?”  … First of all, don’t ever call me Mr., because I am too young for that shit!  Haha, but I am going to tell you the three major advantages of free weights over machines and why free weights will help you get ripped.

Advantage 1: Free weights help you build muscle faster.

- Here is a good example: when you pick up a piece of furniture… it’s not always balanced immediately, but your body eventually balances it out.  Your body has to naturally stabilize it. How does it stabilize it?  Your stabilizing muscles kick in when you lift the couch, just like they kick in when you use with free weights.

Free Weights = More Muscle Contractions(to stabilize) = Building More Muscle

You are going to build muscle and get stronger, quicker.

PS. Oh, by the way you also use your ab muscles with free weights, so you will get six pack abs …

200 Rep Abs Challenge Workout (Can You Do It?)

It’s Mike Chang with SixpackShortcuts and today I’m taking you through my 200 reps abs challenge workout. This workout will give you total control of workout time and speed. This means you can push yourself beyond the limits and develop the amazing six pack abs you’ve always wanted FAST.

Workout breakdown:

*200 reps of Abs

0:31 The way to these 200 reps is by doing as many reps as possible for that exercise and then writing the amount of rep on the board. There is no limit on the amount of reps you do, just do as many as you can and write it up on the board. Keep cycling through the exercises until you have reached 50 each per exercise, which totals up to 200 reps.

Exercises order:

Half burpee sliders

Need to elbow plank

**Then attack the abs from the side

Side leg raises [Right side]

Side leg raises [Left side]
